Python & AI Bootcamp

From zero code to a live AI-powered app in 6 sessions

The most intensive teen camp we offer. Learn Python from scratch, connect to real AI APIs (GPT, Gemini) and ship a working AI application. No experience required.

What They'll Build in 6 Sessions

Every project is real, runnable code, not templates, not copy-paste exercises.

๐Ÿ

Python Command-Line Games

A Wordle-style word game and a number guessing game, both written in pure Python from scratch using loops, functions and string manipulation

๐ŸŒ

API Weather Dashboard

A Python app that connects to a real weather API, fetches live data for any city and displays it cleanly in the terminal with error handling

๐Ÿค–

AI Chatbot Web App

A working chatbot built with Python + Flask that connects to the GPT or Gemini API, deployed locally and accessible from any browser

๐Ÿš€

Final AI Project

Student proposes and builds their own AI-powered project, a real-world tool, game or automation built with the full Python + API stack

What We Cover

Every session builds on the last. By session 6 it all comes together.

1Sessions 1โ€“3: Python Foundations

Session 1

Python Basics

Variables, data types, print(), input(), basic operators, reading error messages

Session 2

Control Flow

if/elif/else, comparison operators, nested conditions, building a CLI quiz

Session 3

Loops

for loops, while loops, range(), break/continue, loop-based game mechanics

2Sessions 4โ€“6: APIs & AI

Session 4

APIs & Requests

What an API is, HTTP basics, the requests library, JSON parsing, error handling

Session 5

Weather API Project

Full build: fetch live data, handle edge cases, format output cleanly

Session 6

AI API Introduction

GPT/Gemini API setup, tokens, prompts, system messages, temperature

Who It's For

Perfect for

  • Teens aged 11โ€“16 with zero coding experience (we start from scratch)
  • Students who want a practical portfolio project to show schools, universities or parents
  • Teens curious about AI who want to go beyond using it to building with it
  • Students who've done block coding (Scratch, Roblox) and want to level up

Not quite the right fit

  • Children under 11, the debugging and API concepts require stronger reading and reasoning
  • Students who've already done 6+ months of Python, this camp covers foundations, not advanced OOP or ML (see our AI Expert course for that)

Camp Format

How sessions are structured, and why it works.

1 Hour Per Session

Focused, well-paced sessions that keep energy high. Three sessions per week gives time to practise and consolidate between classes.

Python + VS Code (Free)

Python and VS Code are both free. We send a pre-camp setup guide, most students are ready in 30 minutes.

Ship Something Real

By session 6 students have a working app connected to a live AI API. Something they can show, share and keep building after camp ends.

Small Group Format

Camp classes are small groups, enough peers to collaborate and share ideas, small enough that every student gets meaningful attention from the instructor.

From Campers & Parents

โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

โ€œMy son went in knowing zero Python. Ten days later he had a working chatbot that his friends were using to help with their essays. I genuinely didn't think that was possible in two weeks.โ€

Mr. Okafor

father, Abuja (Python & AI Bootcamp)

โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

โ€œI chose this camp because the group was actually small, not 30 students in a video call. Real interaction, real feedback, a real instructor who knew our names and could help right away. Nothing like a webinar.โ€

Zara M.

15, London (Python & AI Bootcamp)

โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

โ€œShe's planning to study Computer Science at university. This camp gave her a portfolio project to talk about at interview. The tutor taught her to think like a developer, not just follow instructions.โ€

mother, Lagos (Python & AI Bootcamp)

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my teen need any Python experience?

No, the camp starts from absolute zero. Session 1 covers variables, print() and basic input. That said, students who've done some Scratch or basic block coding typically get through the foundations faster and have more time to deepen their AI project.

Which AI API do you use. GPT or Gemini?

We have starter code and guides for both. The choice depends on account setup. OpenAI's GPT API requires a paid account (small credit); Google's Gemini API has a free tier that's suitable for camp use. We confirm this with each family before the camp starts.

Will the AI app they build actually work?

Yes, fully. Students deploy it locally (running on their own computer) and can access it from any browser on their home network. This isn't a fake demo or a template, it's real Flask + real API calls.

What's the difference between this camp and the Python Programming course?

The camp is a concentrated 6-session build sprint across 2 weeks, ideal for holidays. The Python Programming course is a 4โ€“6 month weekly programme going much deeper into OOP, data structures and libraries. Many students do the camp first to see if they love Python, then join the course to continue.

Can my teen work on their own project idea or do they follow a fixed curriculum?

Both. Sessions 1โ€“5 follow a structured curriculum that builds the skills they need. Session 6 is free-build day, they propose a project and we help them build it. Students arrive on session 6 with ideas and leave with something real.
